I led the weekly project meetings for the CompNeuro-CREP Accelerator project, which is funded by a $14,550 grant from the Open Research Community Accelerator (ORCA) Catalytic Awards Program, and where our team is replicating a previously published model of the fly escape response (the fast turn a fly makes away from something looming toward it).

I led a two-part workshop, where the first part was a quickly ramping introduction to Python for general data science, and the second part was a tutorial on bootstrap hypothesis testing (testing a hypothesis by resampling your own data many times instead of relying on a formula) for neural data, based on Mark Kramer and Uri Eden’s book Case Studies in Neural Data Analysis.

I led the first general body meeting of CompNeuroSociety (a student organization for computational neuroscience at FSU), which included a workshop I gave as an introduction to computational neuroscience based on Thomas Trappenberg’s textbook, Fundamentals of Computational Neuroscience.
